THE ROUTE

The route covers a gruelling 1000 miles. Through the ragged mountains of Scotland, on through the busy city of Edinburgh trying not to get lost in Princes Street. Onwards in to Newcastle making time to enjoy a deep-fried Mars bar! South through Yorkshire for puddings and the Midlands for a good curry. Although I doubt anything will be open by the time we trundle through.

As we enter the Thames Valley we will have London in our sights. Through the Met’s ground and on to the City’s.

Past the birthplace of BikeSafe-London. The temptation to stop will be immense and our bottoms would certainly like us to! But no, onward at 25mph, touching the South East counties and into Wessex.

With just the West Country left, the end is in sight, Just Cornwall and Devon left, ending up at Lands End tired and emotional!
