World SuperBike Championship Round 9

BRANDS HATCH 25/26/27th July 2003

The BikeSafe London stand was extremely busy during the course of the weekend. Manned by both North and South Teams everyone was kept busy and over 530 people completed forms to join the BikeSafe London Rider Skills Days.

BILL PHILP RACING

One of the highlights of the weekend was, for a short while, to have Bill Philp and his passenger Garry Yendall (Yoda) on our stand with their Yamaha R1 Sidecar outfit. Currently in 1st position winning the British Sidecar Championships and lying 8th in the World Superside Championship they caused quite and attraction for the racegoers to see.

Bill has been an avid supporter of BikeSafe for many years. He provided bikes from his own motorcycle dealership (Berkshire Motorcycle Centre in Slough) when needed for the filming of the Thames Valley Police/Troy Bayliss BikeSafe video.
