Kawasaki Motors UK - Launch of the Versys 650

On Wednesday 1st November 2006 four members of the Bikesafe-London North Team (David Carter, Brady Woodnick, Keith Johnson and Paul Stacey) visited the Kawasaki Motors UK 2007 Model Year Dealer Conference in Warwickshire for the official dealer launch of the new Kawasaki Versys 650.

Kawasaki Motors UK are keen sponsors of Bikesafe-London (providing a ZX-10R and an ER-6n) and this was an ideal opportunity for the team to meet all the various Kawasaki UK dealers in order to promote Bikesafe-London to gain more exposure for its goals and to help attract yet more motorcycle enthusiasts of all ages and experience to attend one of our Rider Skills Days.

The visit increased the profile of Bikesafe-London and served to raise awareness of safer motorcycle riding generally in terms of improving skills, enjoying riding and staying safe as well as helping out Kawasaki at the same time with some dealer ride-outs.

Grateful thanks too must go to Kawasaki Motors UK, Martin Lambert in particular, for the new 'Bikesafe-London' paintjob they have done on our ZX-10R sponsor bike."

It was a very long day, but a great success for all the parties involved.
