BikeSafe-London Team Accompany Fenlanders Harley Owners Group On Their Fund-Raising Run to Great Ormond Street Hospital - 16th September 2007.

Fenlanders HOG from Suffolk arranged the fund-raising ride out from Walthamstow Stadium to Coram's Fields Harmsworth Memorial Playground at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital.

We all checked in ready for the 10.30am start. Fellow HOG members came from many other areas, some from as far as the New Forest!

The BikeSafe-London team rode out in front, stopping traffic at junctions and traffic lights so our cavalcade could thud its way safely into central London.

It was amazing to see the smiling faces of people as they opened windows, came out onto balconies and stopped in the street to wave and take photos as they watched and listened to the rolling thunder of some 500 gleaming Harleys pass by.

Arriving at the hospital, Black Bear Harley-Davidson provided the background music and helped with organising the picnic lunch, whilst we all sat in the park enjoying the company and atmosphere.

The day ended without a hitch and hopefully a lot of money was raised for the hospital.
Grateful thanks goes to all the BikeSafe-London team who made the ride so much fun, and above all safe.
