Transport for London (TfL) has teamed up with the Motor Cycle Industry Association (MCI) to offer you the chance to win a motorcycle or scooter of your choice, plus runners up prizes of 6 helmets and 3 sets of protective clothing.

Your dream machine could be yours simply by entering this competition which is only open to those who attend a BikeSafe-London or ScooterSafe-London Rider Skills Day course between 01 September and 30 November 2011.

Plus, did you know that by attending a BikeSafe-London or ScooterSafe-London Rider Skills Day, you can enjoy discounts from some retailers and insurers, so everyone's a winner!

Terms and Conditions:
1) Competition is only open to UK Residents who live, work or study in a London borough.
2) Entrants must have booked onto a BikeSafe-London or ScooterSafe-London Rider Skills Day between 4 July 2011 and 30 November 2011 and attended the day between 1 September and 30 November 2011. Persons who book onto a Rider Skills Day but do not subsequently attend will not be eligible to enter this competition.
3) Only participants who attend a BikeSafe-London or ScooterSafe-London Rider Skills Day are eligible to enter.
4) Only one entry is permitted per BikeSafe-London or ScooterSafe-London attendee.
5) Entries must be submitted on an original entry form. Photocopies or altered entries will not be accepted.
6) Entries must be posted into the competition entry box provided at the BikeSafe-London or ScooterSafe-London day, or posted to 'Win a Dream Machine Competition', BikeSafe-London, Palestra 5G5, FREEPOST RLZJ-XBRG-YLJX, Transport for London, Windsor House, 42-50 Victoria Street, London. SW1H 0TL
7) Responsibility cannot be accepted for entries damaged or lost in transit.
8) All entries must be received by 7 December 2011.
9) Prizes [are subject to availability and] include one motorcycle to the value of RRP £12,000, or one Scooter to the value of RRP £2,000, 6 helmets to the value of RRP £500 each and 3 sets of protective clothing to the value of RRP £1,000 each. All maximum values are inclusive of VAT. Note that all prizes must be sought from the MCI member dealer network.
10) The motorcycle can only be won by attendees of BikeSafe-London and the scooter can only be won by attendees of ScooterSafe-London. BikeSafe-London attendees cannot win a scooter and ScooterSafe-London attendees cannot win a motorcycle.
11) No cash alternatives will be offered.
12) Entrants must be 16 years old, must hold a full motorcycle licence or a provisional licence and valid Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) certificate.
13) Employees of Transport for London (TfL), Motor Cycle Industry Association (MCI), Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), City of London Police (CoLP), Greater London Authority (GLA), British Transport Police (BTP), London Fire Brigade (LFB) and London Ambulance Service (LAS), their immediate families, TfL's agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion are not eligible to enter.
14) Bulk entries or entries from third parties will not be accepted.

The judging panel comprises members of TfL, MPS, MCI and Road Safety GB (RSGB) and at least one judge is independent of TfL. The names and addresses of the judges will be made available on request, subject to applicable law.
16) Winners will be entrants who have answered all 3 questions correctly and who have, in the sole opinion of the judges, completed the tiebreaker in the most original way. Prizes will be allocated between winners by the judges according to the answers to the tiebreaker i.e. the most original answers will be offered the motorcycle/scooter as a prize.
17) The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into in relation to entries.
18) TfL will own all copyright or similar rights subsisting in entries received, whether or not an entry has been selected as a winner. Participants accordingly waive all such rights by submitting their entry.
19) Winners will be notified in writing via email or post by 15 December 2011.
20) Names of winners will be published at: www.bikesafe-london.co.uk from 20 December 2011.
21) By accepting these Terms and Conditions, winners agree to take part in post-competition publicity.
