I passed my bike test in 2003 after getting the bug on the back of my husbands bike. I found my feet on a GS500, but quickly moved up through a selection of sports tourers to the ST1300 Pan European that I’ve owned for 6 years. Its taken me through the Alps and the Pyrenees, and it’s my reliable daily commuter. After completing my Police Advanced Motorcycle Course, I now have the bug for a new bike, perhaps a BMW K1300S. When you meet me on a BikeSafe day you’ll have to ask me what I’m riding now.

If you are looking at our website, don’t hesitate and get booked on a course. The best part of this job is meeting new riders and giving you some of our valuable advice to keep you safe on the roads and enjoy your bike.

I’m new to Bikesafe London; I joined the team in October 2014 and love every minute of it.

I started riding at about the time I became a Police officer in 2003. My first bike was a Honda Hornet on which I tried my hand at track days and touring. Two years later I bought a BMW 1150GS, a really fun bike on which time and again I toured France, Belgium, Ireland and the UK.

In 2009 I bought my current bike a VFR 800 VTEC which is a lovely capable all round bike.

I’m a keen amateur mechanic and most days would find me thumbing through a Haynes manual and covered in oil.

I’m looking forward to doing more track days, the occasional bike tour and enjoying my time with the Bikesafe team.

I am currently riding a Honda CBF1000 which I‘ve owned for the past 7 years, no reason to change it.

Best biking moment chatting to Keith Flint of The Prodigy at BSB Brands Hatch, he owns his own endurance team (Team Traction Control).

I enjoy going to live motor sport events mainly Moto GP and Formula 1.

I got my first motorbike aged 10 years old, a Honda 125cc XL motor cross bike. I have been riding on the road since 2000. Since then I have owned a number of GSX-R’s and a Bandit 1200. As a keen track day enthusiast, I try to go on tracks around the country. I enjoy riding in Europe and my best biking moment was completing a four day off road course. In the near future, I hope to buy a Honda CRF 450cc.

I have been riding motorcycles on the road for the past 15 yrs or so and have always bought sports bikes.

My current one is a CBR600RR. When not working (and if allowed by the wife) I enjoy going to British superbike and got to three or four a year for a weekends camping.

I also enjoy trips abroad, which last year was going to Nurbug ring via Ypres in Belgium.

I have been riding motorcycles for 35 years competing in motocross as a school boy and moving on to my first road bike a FS1E. I have been riding Police Motorcycles for the last ten years. I also compete in Enduro on a KTM 450 EXC hoping to do the Red Bull Romanics this year if my fitness is good enough. My best bike trip was off road across Spain on my latest bike a GS1200 ADV

I took to two wheels aged four, albeit pedal power. I lived on a farm and was driving as soon as I could reach the pedals. The fields were my training grounds for tractors, Land Rovers, cars and bikes. Motorcycles are my passion. I have five including an RD350 YPVS and an FZR 1000 EXUP. Proper old school machinery! I have been a Police motorcyclist since 2005 and feel very lucky to be able to combine work with riding a motorcycle. Enjoy Bikesafe. It’s a great day out!

    Favourite Bike; RD350 YPVS

I started riding in my teens, as soon as I could get a licence, on a HONDA Superdream. I left this behind for women, wine and song (marriage and a mortgage) only returning after an absence of twenty years when I purchased a HONDA VFR 800 Fix. Had this bike for nearly nine years now and in that time it’s provided me with hours of stress free and maintenance free riding. I also have an ’96 Triumph Trophy T312 1200 I use for commuting, as the years gallop by comfort is my main requirement now. New to the team and really looking forward meeting like minded riders.

Favourite Bike. HONDA FIREBLADE it’s a bit of an animal.

As one of the newest members of the bike safe team it’s a pleasure to see so much riding knowledge being imparted in such a constructive way.

I personally have been riding now for 22 years. Starting all those years ago on my Honda MTX. Since then I have owned several bikes and now on my boyhood dream bike of a Honda Fire blade.

I enjoy the odd track day or four for which I have got an old CBR 600 which gets the blood pumping a bit. I also like the social side of motorcycling and attend bike rallies when time, work and the missus allow of course!!!

I’ve been riding for nearly 15 years and owned a number of sports bikes. I had a brief stint with my own track bike. I’d say my most favourite bike was a Honda CBR600RR. At present I ride a Honda Blackbird. I enjoy all forms of motorbike racing but enjoy road racing most of all.

Favourite biking moment must be completing an off road course.

I’ve been riding bikes for about 10 years and I’ve loved every minute. I am privileged to have joined a team where my passion is my job. I’ve owned a few bikes over the years. My last bike was a Honda CBR 600RR which provided me years of fun. My current bike is a Kawasaki GTR 1400, it has all the comfort and speed that I need. When I’m not riding around on motorbikes, you’ll find me skiing down some mountains, I try to squeeze in at least one trip a year. I plan to go to wheelie school next year and learn how to do them properly, there is a story behind this which you’ll hear when you come on a course.
