Welcome to the BikeSafe-London

"South" Team.

Our rider skills days are great fun and needless to say the Team are very friendly.

Held in the relaxed atmosphere of The Warren we are able to help you focus on improving your riding ability so you become a safer and more confident rider.



We cover approx 60-70 miles on road each day including town and countryside riding.
Our Team, with years of experience are here to pass on their skills to you.

At the end of the day each rider will be awarded with a BikeSafe-London Skills Day Certificate of Attendance and receives a pack which includes discount offers from companies within the motorcycle industry. .


Rider Requirements

On the day, please bring your UK driving licence (if photo licence then both parts), valid MOT cert (if reqd), and insurance certificate. Please wear appropriate clothing.


Itinerary Of The Day


Rider Skills days consist of a group of twelve riders with a ratio of one Police Officer to two riders.
The day begins at 8.45am and finishes around 4.30pm:

  • Tea/coffee, registration of riders and vehicle check
  • Introduction and collision causation analysis
  • The System of Motorcycle Control & Filtering presentation + hazard awareness
  • First observed ride out
  • Debrief/lunch
  • Second observed ride out
  • Debrief/tea & coffee
  • Collision investigation presentation
  • Powered two wheeler security
  • Certificates, Hi Vis Tabard presentation and closing

    Directions

    At Junction 4 of M25 go to the top slip road and turn left onto the A21 towards Bromley. Follow the signs for Bromley until you reach the double set of traffic lights (beside Chapter One Restaurant) at Farnborough Common. Turn left onto the A232 Croydon Road and straight on through two sets of traffic lights - left hand bend - The Warren on right just prior to solid white lines.
