BikeSafe-London and Ace Cafe Prize Draw

If you book a BikeSafe-London or ScooterSafe-London Rider Skills Day at any London venue before 28 October 2016, and attend the day by 25 November 2016, you’ll be entered in a free draw to win some fantastic prizes, in association with London’s iconic Ace Cafe.

There are two categories in this prize draw:

New Riders

First prize is a Bell Bullitt Carbon Ace Cafe Black Jack Helmet worth £399.99.

Experienced Riders

First prize is a Dianese Archivio Ace Cafe Jacket worth £479.99.

Runner-up

A runner-up in each category will win an Ace Cafe ‘Ton Up’ goody bag £100.

Terms and Conditions

1. Entry into the BikeSafe-London and ScooterSafe-London Prize Draw (the “Prize Draw”) is open to anyone who lives, works or studies in London (excluding employees of the Promoter, Ace Cafe or any of their subsidiaries, advisers, agents and/or anyone connected with the organisation of this promotion) and has completed either the BikeSafe-London or the ScooterSafe-London workshop by Friday 25 November 2016. Registrations for BikeSafe-London and ScooterSafe-London must be received between Monday 9 May 2016 and Friday 28 October 2016.

2. Those who complete a BikeSafe-London or ScooterSafe-London Rider Skills Day between Monday 9 May 2016 and Friday 25 November 2016 will be automatically entered into the Prize Draw. Completion of a BikeSafe-London or ScooterSafe-London workshop will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions for the purposes of entry into the Prize Draw unless the entrant notifies the Promoter that it wishes to be withdrawn from the Prize Draw.

3. Only one entry can be made per person.

4. The prizes for the Prize Draw will be spilt into two categories, these being ‘New Riders’ and ‘Experienced Riders’. For the purposes of this prize draw only, ‘New Riders’ will be classed as persons of 16-29 years of age, while ‘Experienced Riders’ will be classed as persons of 30 years of age and over.

5. In the ‘New Riders’ category, first prize will be a Bell Bullitt Carbon Ace Cafe helmet worth £399.99 and the runner-up prize will be an Ace Cafe ‘Ton Up’ goody bag worth £100. In the ‘Experienced Riders’ category, first prize will be a Dianese Archivio Ace Cafe Jacket worth £479.99 and the runner-up prize will be an Ace Cafe ‘Ton Up’ goody bag worth £100. Entrants will not have the right to choose a prize.

6. The winners in the ‘New Riders’ and ‘Experience Riders’ categories will be the entrants drawn at random under independent supervision on Thursday 1 December 2016.

7. The winners will be notified by email no later than Tuesday 6 December 2016. If the winner does not respond within 14 days, the prize will be re-drawn and awarded to an alternative winner. The names of the winners will be posted on the BikeSafe-London and Ace Cafe website pages from Monday 12 December 2016 for a minimum of 28 days.

8. Prizes must be collected from the Ace Cafe by Friday 6 January 2017, by prior arrangement.

9. Winners may be required to take part in promotional activities.

10. The Promoter of the Prize Draw is Transport for London of Windsor House, 42-50 Victoria Street, London, SW1H 0TL. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding in all matters and no correspondence will be entered into.

11. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute any prizes with a prize of equivalent or higher value in the event of circumstances outside of its control. There is no cash alternative to any prize.

12. Entry into the Prize Draw constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. Transport for London reserves the right to refuse to award prizes to anyone found to be in breach of these terms and conditions.

13. These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

Privacy notice

Transport for London (TfL), its subsidiaries and service providers, will use your personal information (provided by the operators of the BikeSafe-London workshop) for the purposes of administering this competition, informing you if you have won and if so, issuing your prize. If you have previously registered as a customer with TfL we will also use this information to check that your existing contact details are up to date. Your personal information will be properly safeguarded and processed in accordance with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998.
